Yinning Zhang is the Co-Founder of EPINOVA LLC and brings over 15 years of experience in managing complex IT projects. She oversees the overall management and communication of EPINOVA initiatives, ensuring smooth coordination across teams and stakeholders.
In addition, Ms. Zhang serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of West Georgia, where she teaches in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics. Her research focuses on developing neural network models tailored to domain-specific challenges. Notably, she has created an integrated framework that combines machine learning, density functional theory (DFT), and experimental data to more accurately and efficiently estimate oxygen vacancy formation energies (OVFEs) in high-entropy oxide (HEPO) compounds. She has also explored the use of temporal graph neural networks (TGNNs) to detect time-sensitive patterns in network intrusion detection systems.
Ms. Zhang has led several editorial projects, contributing to the successful publication of academic books including Healthcare in the United States: Navigating the Basics of a Complex System, The Fundamentals of Healthcare Administration: Navigating Challenges and Coordinating Care, and Public Policy: Origins, Practice, and Analysis, among others.
Her academic background is equally diverse and rigorous. She holds a Master’s degree in Technology of Computer Application from East China Normal University, a second Master’s in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia, and a third in Software Engineering from Kennesaw State University, where she is also currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science.
